Happy, happy days,

Offer thanks and amaze!

The rigours of winter are passing,

Joyously spring is coming!

Sweep away all thoughts of gloom,

Make a brightly fresh shining new room.

Give over your heart and mind

Praying, real treasure you’re bound to find.

A clean, white page each and every day,

We are called to always pray.

The past may be a story of worry and woe,

But now, onwards, upwards, forwards, off we go!

Look not at failure and disappointment,

God is the Father of many a new appointment.

Press on in faith to see

The twists and turns of destiny.

No day need be dreary,

Nor trying, exhaustingly weary.

Part the clouds of grey

To find awaiting, a sunny day.

Words spoken, actions taken, by you,

Can brighten life through and through.

Don’t resist the passing time,

Thinking tomorrow, not today is fine.

Keep firm the faith you possess,

It is the source of true happiness.

Time does not steal all that is good,

Fond memories inspire as they should.

Often we plan, plot and scheme,

But is this a part of the Lord God’s dream?

Glory in your heart that this is so,

By love’s outcome you will know,

Whether you live in sunshine or showers,

The decision and direction taken will be ours.

Gladly face what is to be,

Handing over the reigns to godly authority.

Past years many, we’ve seen blessed,

The future yet holds promise of more happiness.

Trust God to work things out,

Go on your way without fear or doubt.

A heart that loves simplicity

Is a heart in tune with the holy Trinity.

What is your sense this morning?

What new hopes now are dawning?

Express your gratitude in a prayer,

Delight in all the Lord God does share.

Each day a miracle has occurred,

Life, faith, strength given in love secured.

Let hope be your companion along the way

Life held securely, happy, as you pray.

Keep tight hold on faith’s hope.

Love, peace and joy ever within faith’s scope.

Find somewhere outside on a fine day,

Be surrounded by beauty as you pray.

For surely then you cannot fail to see

The Lord God’s hand of all loving majesty!

His Son, the Lord Jesus, impacts upon us.

We await Easter, a time most glorious.

February now come to an end,

Celebratory time approaches, a Saviour God will send.

Your prayer is a worldwide outreach,

Able to stir the Holy Spirit to teach.

He instructs us all about Christ Jesus,

The very real difference He does make to all of us.

Go to Him seeking blessings of holiness,

Finding this measures up to happiness.

Faith is a long winding journey,

Undertaken willingly, hopefully, praying daily.

Traversing life’s many ups and its downs,

Remembering Christ Jesus wears the crown,

So all our todays as well as tomorrows,

Are made secure in the holy love we borrow.

Give warmest praise to the Almighty,

Happy, happy, days, belong to the Trinity.

Dearest Lord, for all the hope, peace and joy faith makes known to us in the experience of Your love given in Christ Jesus, by the Holy Spirit, we praise and thank You. Many are the days of our happiness! Amen.
